embrace what YOU love...

So I have a question:
what do YOU love?

Is it something people might make fun of you for?
Is it unusual?
Is it considered "weird" to some people?

Well, if your answer is yes to any of those questions, ask yourself this: DO I LOVE IT? DO i LIKE IT? DOES IT SCREAM 'ME' IN ANY WAY?

here I want to talk about embracing the things you love. Stepping out of yourself. Being YOURSELF. being ORIGINAL. being UNIQUE. being YOU.

time and time again I would struggle just wearing what I want without the fear of being giggled at, or stared down by the 'cool' kids.
Now am I saying don't dress modest and don't care what other people think? Absolutely NOT. All I'm saying is we need to just BE ORIGINAL.

Yesterday my mom and me went to Goodwill to look around. And when we left we got in the car and started to drive off, while we were waiting for pedestrians to cross, I noticed a very original outfit from this girl. She had not ONE care about what she wore. I thought it looked awesome, but not everyone feels that way.

I just want to encourage everyone to step out, be yourself, and if you get made fun of for wearing something TOTALLY out of the ordinary, GOOD! Wear it over and over and over again until they see that you don't care, they'll see your uniqueness and think to themselves "she's different." I love that!

So embrace what you love!
Don't be afraid to do these things if ITS YOU and YOU like them.

Do you love to mix and match your outfits?
Do you like to wear funky sun glasses?
Do you like long drapey skirts?
Do you like yourself better w/out make-up?
Do you like huge rings?
Do you like outdated things?
Do you like to listen to old fashioned music?
Do you like to do any of these things and MORE but are afraid of what people will think of you?

We'll here's some news. Honestly, no one cares. That's right. No one really gives a flip. If they make fun of you, they either want attention, or don't feel very good about themselves. But doesn't it feel awesome when we keep doing it regardless of what they thinks and eventually they end up giving up making fun of you because they realize they can't get to you. Then know you have confidence, especially from the LORD!
I love that feeling!
Embrace your uniqueness. Embrace it! Your uniqueness WILL show from the inside out!
