God is my best friend forever: Literally!

That was something I though of last night!
But here is something that happened just 10 minutes ago!


Here's the story:

I was on the computer in my room finishing up my French 1 work.
My mom was in the kitchen w/ my step dad reading scriptures aloud.
In my room, the light was off (it's on the ceiling fan).
The only light in my room was the desk lamp.
I decided I need more light, so before I pull the string on the fan which brings on the light, I go to my window to look at the sky, because I wanted to see if there was any color in it before the bright light goes on.
Well,
after I leave the window, I pull the string, and BAM! the whole entire lamp falls from the ceiling, wires attach, and right on me! Here I am just minding my own business, wanting some extra light, and the fan breaks.
and so does the bulb.

Glory to God, I wasn't hurt at all! It fell on my shoulder, but not my head, because I truly believe the Lord was watching over me.
I mean, the bulb could of broke on my head!

But, here is why this is being posted.

The devil.

he thinks he can come and try and distract my mom from reading God's Holy word.
he'll do anything, ANYTHING, to set off my step dad.
But it didn't work!

Me & my mom knew it was him trying to make us leave the Word.

But, by God's wonderful protection, he is GONE!
I thank God Almighty for His love, His comfort, His guidance, protection, kindness, and
voice.
Thank the LORD!

Father, you're always looking out for us! Your protection is amazing, I can't even fathom it. I am so thankful that nothing serious happened to me as the fan fell. I am also grateful that we have authority over the devil and his stupid schemes. You are my King, my God. And I will praise you forever. Amen
