That's usually my first thought when I get out if bed!
But just because a person is home schooled doesn't mean they have to be lazy all day right? So I thought to myself, "why do I stay in my jammies all day?" I came to the conclusion that it's because I'm, well, lazy. Sad to say, I know, but it's not like I have anywhere to head to.
What if I started getting dressed every morning before I started my day? Would I feel any different being that I am home ALL DAY? When I was attending public school, that obviously wasn't a problem in my world.
Now, my p-jays have become my daily uniform. It shouldn't be that way right?
What if we had a unexpected visitor. What if I had to desperately had to run to the store?
I think I'm having a change of mind. Jammies are awesome....but I have to remind myself---they're for bedtime. Bedtime and waking up.
Do you think it's appropriate to walk into a store in pajamas? Or in the olden days, did they where their jammies throughout the day? Not likely!
I think from now on, I will get dressed before starting my day.

Amen, I know exactly how you feel. I went through a long phase of not getting dressed 'till 4 or five. Bad, I know. Still I don't get dressed till noon. I dunno, what can I say?
I totally get what you are saying. It can be really comfortable to stay in pj's, but not as fun as staying in the sun wearing real clothes living our lives. :)
Hi
Just wanted to thank you for posting on my blog. That is so neat. I really have not had a chance to update any of my blogs for awhile because of lack of access and also because I am sooo busy lately... Anyways, thank you again. I really hope to post again as soon as I can. I love your blog by the way. I hope to come back again soon.

Thats how I was when I was still in school. I would wear my pj's until noon most days. It's a hard habit to break when they're so comfy. :)
On weekends I don't get dressed until noon or shortly there after. Let's just say I have missed that simple pleasure since I no-longer get to do it during the week...
