I should say this was actually God-inspired. I wrote it a few weeks ago, and I wish I wasn't so afraid to sing it. I might record it and post it here. But these are the lyrics, and if you think about them, they may touch your heart.
Lifting my head up to the sun
No where to hide no where to run.
Hiding behind what I have done.
Feelings of heartache and of pain
No where to put all of my shame
Don't You know I'm cryin' out?
And You said...
'Yes I heard your every cry
Don't you know that's why I died
To give you peace to give to life.
'You can come and run to Me
Child I'm here, I'll set you free,
Love is what I have for you.'
My heart was captured by You
This peace I now feel comes from Truth
I can feel You, I can feel You near.
Every mountaintop that I tread
Every hour I lie awake in my bed,
I can feel You, I can feel You near
Lifting my head up to the sun
I now have a place to hide and run
No longer hid by what I've done
Feelings of fullness and of grace
All of this shame, it had a place
You heard my cry and You stayed near.
And You said...
'You have felt My love so near,
Then you knew that I was here
My love, My light through you I'll show
I am here to comfort you
And right there to bring you through.
All these days are meant for joy.
My heart was captured by You
This peace I now feel comes from Truth
I can feel You, I can feel You near.
Every mountaintop that I tread
Every hour I lie awake in my bed,
I can feel You, I can feel You near

What a wonderful song!
I am not very good at composing things. So, it always amazes me for some one to write something, that actually sounds good.
A very an inspiring song.
Thanks for sharing!
Leah
P.S. Ooh! Would you actually sing it for us? That would be neat. :D
It's beautiful Amber! I love it. =)
