On a day like this...

"Lord, it is on a day like this I sometimes 

wonder how much I have allowed Your grace to

make a major change in my life.

  Lord, teach me to love Your Word, to obey

Your commands, to submit to Your Spirit, and to

die to this cruel self.

  Thank You that victory is not only possible

but is essential or else my life is little different

from the people I meet each day who do not

know You. Lord, I know the theory and a great

amount of theology; help me to see it happen in

my experience.

  Thank You for all the prayers You have

answered in the past; they have been beyond my 

best expectations. You are a great God, and I 

worship You. Amen."
