Success!

~The story of a wannabe aspiring tortilla maker~

So you wanna hear my success story, huh? :
I ROLLED A ROUND TORTILLA!
This never happens. (& I've been rolling em' for years.)
This was my 2nd time making everything by myself though. (alright, Mom helped w/ the dough)

Just like Grama makes ; )

You can sorta see how the shape is on these ones. Not very round!
(NOT how Grama's look. Mine are amateur :)

Just because!
Clean up was a breeze :) Oh wait, I forgot about after dinner.

And while I was giving tortilla piece by piece to the little 2 year old running around our house, I found a great laugh when little Kae would say, "More tia Amber, more tia!"

My Grama brought us her homemade (homemade!!!) apricot jam. That w/ homemade tortillas makes for a smiling gal! Yes, that would most certainly be me :)

I've always wanted to make tortillas... but I've heard it was really hard. :P

You heard right, Polka Dot! It's the hardest thing I've ever made. Serious. But I think it takes year's practice :)

Yummy! Those look so good. I would love to make some, so I will have to ask my mom if we can. Thanks for showing the pictures! I am sure mine will be oddly shaped for quite a while, ooh well. ;)

love in Christ,
Maggie
