My Mama has a home daycare, & I have just fallen in complete love with these kiddos! We have babies & 2 year olds. One of them, we haven't seen in awhile, but his mom brought him over to play. The girl (who will be named Olive) (& who talks like crazy!) (& who's only 2) decided it would be cool to slap the other 2 year old boy (who will be named Sweets). Sweets was heartbroken! He cried so sadly & I sadly had to punish Olive. So now she was crying.
After Sweets calmed down a bit, Mama had to run somewhere & she took Sweets with her. I stayed with Olive & her brother until their Papa came for them. Me & Olive were watching T.V. just waiting. And you know what? This is what she told me.
"I want to apologize to Sweets," in her sweet little baby voice.
Okay, how old is she? She's barely potty-trained & the Lord is working on her heart. I wanted to cry! I told her Jesus loved her & knew He was smiling at her. It was the most precious thing. Sadly, she won't get to see Sweets for a really long time.
But later, me & my sister were talking & we thought, "Maybe God had her say that for us "big kids"." Because really, that's how we oughta be.
I love these kiddos.

Aw. Kids are so sweet, and we can learn so much from them! :)
My mom also keeps children in our home. We have three at this point: a 3 year old, a 1 year old, and a 7 month old. :) All girls!

SOOOO cute!!!! =] I love the lessons that kids teach us. :D
We can learn so much if we just listen to the children! Thanks for sharing! I feel like I haven't "talked" with you in a while! You know that image of a girl blowing her hair from her frazzled face? That's been me. Honeybun or not, we'll make it with God at our side! It's pretty special to think that He's with you...& me! We've got the same Hero, Savior, Best Friend, King. I guess that's why I feel like we understand each other so well... We've got the same Daddy! (Just think if Sweets (or Olive) said that in their precious talk. 'Daddy' sounds like a small child word. I know I haven't been able to say it to a 'live' person since my own 'daddy' past away 10 years ago. I'm so glad I have this Daddy, & I'm beyond grateful (too) to have had that daddy.)
Goodnight, sis!
