One thing I've been fond of pondering lately is how God uses men and women to show a reflection of Himself. Women are nurturing, soft, beautiful. God is not feminine but takes some of His attributes, put them in women, and we call that femininity.
Men are protectors, providers, warriors! God made them that way. It all leads back to God! He shows who He is in the most beautiful ways. Through mothers and fathers, husbands and wives; through friendships, through nature. And I am learning to just stop caring about what people may say or think about me because it just. doesn't. matter. What God says about you matters! He calls you by name. He hasn't forgotten you. No, He gazes on you while you sleep, He smiles when you smile.
"Do not fear for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name and you are Mine!" Isaiah 43:1
"Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness, who seek the Lord. Look to the rock from which you were hewn." Isaiah 51:1
How does He want to be shown through your life? We are a fragrance to those around us... He wants to display His beauty through us, His provision, His mercy, His comfort, His forgiveness. When He made a way for me to go to Alaska in 2 days, He showed Himself faithful to myself and many people. We were made to show who He is not who WE are! He knows your frame, and knit you together just the way you are.
"I am writing to you young men because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you and have overcome the evil one." 1 John 2:14
Let the women step into her calling as His daughter,
"The Kings daughter is all glorious within." Psalm 45:13Knowing her true identity in Him, gazing upon His beauty, entering His presence daily, and gaining wisdom from His word. We are sons and daughters of the Living God!
in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be
"Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy one who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behaivior." 1 Peter 1:13-15
I pray you are blessed!

Well written! How blessed we are to be children of God, and I certainly need to be reminded on a daily basis that all the glory goes to Him!!
