Blog Party! Of course you're invited, silly!

Guin at Singing In The Rain  is having an awesome blog party! Fun stuff!

Here we go. :)
1. What has been your favorite part of summer so far? I'm going to say being outside at sunset. No matter where I am it never fails to put a happy heart smile on my face.
2. What is your favorite part of autumn? So many things! Other than the colors, I love the feeling of cold. I love wearing yellow mittens and scarves, & then being inside a dimly lit coffee shop. You can't forget your steaming cup of hot chocolate!
3. Raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens? I'm gonna go with brown paper packages (tied up with string of course!) But I guess since that wasn't a choice, I love raindrops on roses.
4. Describe your dream house: "An 18th century fixer-upper. Technique, I want a colonial home with all the charm and character, old flooring, unique walls and layout, outhouses, barns, and buried treasure. I mainly just want a piece of history to call my own. Other than that, I don't really care what it looks like." This description was Emily's. Sorry girl, again we're too much alike :)
 5. What's your favorite movie? Fireproof!
6. Quote something from the book you most recently read: "...Christy went on. "We can't come to God as we are because of our sin. He's pure and holy, and we're not. That's why God allowed His only Son to die in our place. Jesus paid the price for our disobedience. But you already know all that, Aunt Marti. You know that God wants us to be made clean so that nothing would seperate us from Him." Christy swallowed her rising emotions. "I don't know if you know this, but He wants to give you a new heart, Aunt Marti. God wants you to take His salvation like a wedding dress. It's a pure, white, immensely expensive wedding dress. It cost Him His life. He offers it to all of us to wear as we walk this long aisle of life. But we have to put on His gift." ~I Promise by Robin Jones Gunn~
7. What do you like/not like about my blog? I want to be honest here. I think you should forget asking what people like/dislike about you and your blog and just come as you are! If some people don't like you, well then that's ok. Be you. (Somethin' I had to learn today =)
8. Rain or shine? Rain, because it's so calming.
9. The worst grammatical mistake, in your opinion: When people use text talk. Even when we're texting!
10. If you had a choice, would you want to live: in the mountains, in a rainforest, on a prairie, or by the beach? Tough one, Guin. All of them! I live in the mountains, but my grama lives near a prairie & it reminds me of The Love Comes Softly series. So maybe that. But oh how I love the beach! Okay, prairie it is.
11. What character from a book would you say you are most like? Christy Miller from The Christy Miller Series. There are 30 books in the whole entire series by Robin Jones Gunn, so that's why I refer to her a lot.
12. Be constantly talking the rest of your life or not be able to communicate in any way for the rest of your life? No way would I want to be talking the rest of my life. I think I already drive myself crazy doing that.
13. Owl City or Switchfoot? Owl City for the beat; Switchfoot for the beat and lyrics!
14. Taylor Swift of Selena Gomez? Well, music from Disney does not interest me, so I have to say neither. But I like their voices.
15. Your pet peeve? Sheesh, what a question. Not being able to fall asleep for two hours!
          16. What's your favorite font?: Courier & Garamond
17. How are you educated? (i.e. homeschooled, public schooled, private schooled): Homeschooled since the 2nd half of the 10th grade.
18. Do you consider yourself tomboy-ish or feminine? I can be both. (especially at home). That should tell you that I tend to be more tomboy around my family. But elsewhere, femininity is the most natural thing in the world. I love femininity more.
 19. What's your favorite song? I have many many. But currently it is this one: Schindler's List Soundtrack - Main Theme
          20. Did you enjoy answering these questions? Yes!
