How life is like a book.

It's not quite the last day of the year, but it's one more day to reflect on this crazy, beautiful adventure called LIFE.

I like to think of it as being a book.

One year ends--and so does another volume of the Amber Series Collection. This one, I'm almost finished with. Just a few more pages to go.

Looking back, (or should I say reading back) on this chapter book makes me smile. God has done a million and one incredible things. Lessons, adventures, excitement, dreams.

12 months ago I was worried about school, jobs, people.
But...I was about to open a new book with pages & pages of what I call the best year of my life.

Doubts? Worries? Fear?
Check.
It was all included in the Collection Series.
(There's been 17 of them so far)
There are still things I don't understand. But if God allowed just 60 more volumes, what kind of story would He write in them if I did understand it all?

When one reads a book, some people might like to take notes.
Well, when I read my life book (live it), journaling is like my notetaking.

I have no clue what's going to happen in 2011.
I don't even know what the book cover looks like!
I have no idea about school, or a job, or friends.
I can't skip over to one chapter, though, without reading what's already in front of me.

All I can say is that I'm just a happy girl, learning to take life...
one step at a time.

The Arizona trip was another chapter which brings a smile to my face.
I wrote about it here.

Great way of putting it. Who knew that me and you have both authored a 17 part series? haha.

I love this post. :) So very true - especially about not skipping any chapters. It's amazing how God scripts our stories, isn't it?

Blessings on your new year, friend!
